Simplified procedures to get Kosovo documents (RTS)
Kosovo Deputy Minister of Interior, Milan Radojevic, stated to RTS that an administrative instruction, adopted by the Kosovo authorities, in fact simplifies procedures to get Kosovo documents.
Kosovo authorities recently adopted an administrative instruction simplifying procedures to get Kosovo documents, as it was impossible, without documents, to exercise some of the fundamental human rights in Kosovo such as right to a pension, right to receive social support and so on.
Radojevic also stated to RTS, it is expected the new instruction would help displaced Serbs the most, as this instruction defines the procedures how to get Kosovo documents.
The instruction also covers married couples, in case one of the partners is not from Kosovo. In this case, if one partner has Kosovo documents, the other one, born in the territory of central Serbia automatically gets Kosovo documents. This also includes children born in the territory of central Serbia.
