Former President of Serbia, and leader of SDS party, Boris Tadic refuted today claims that he is pledging for Kosovo to get a seat in the UN.

“It is a lie that I am pledging for Kosovo to get a seat in the UN. The truth is that I said, commenting on proposition journalist made in the questions, it seems to me that under current circumstances when Kosovo is going toward the independence, following the signing of the Brussels agreement, if I would be Vucic, I would even think about that, as well as about some other middle solutions, aiming to avoid the final act of a formal recognition,” Tadic said in a press release.

Commenting on Vucic’s politics toward Kosovo, Tadic said, he would never bring Serbia into “such situation, because he always knew where the red lines of the Kosovo politics are.”

He again repeated that Vucic should take over responsibility for leading Kosovo politics toward minimizing options for the preservation of the Serbian interests, and not to give lectures about courage. In particular, it is hypocritical that he is now giving lectures about the courage for something, that until yesterday, his party sent curses and death threats for,” Tadic said.

He also added, Vucic came into power promising he would annul everything that former government negotiated with Pristina.
