For more than a year and a half, the municipality of Klina is carrying out the works at the family Vulicevic’s property, without their consent. The family is displaced in central Serbia, KIM Radio reported.

According to Bozidar Sarkovic, the only Serb member of the municipal assembly in Klin, works on building a shelter for elderly people are carried out without property owners’ consent and without any compensation to the owners.

“The family Vulicevic, displaced in Krusevac, central Serbia, has 9 hectares of property in the city zone of Klina, near by the River Beli Drim. The municipality usurped 1.5 hectares of their land,” stated Sarkovic, adding that works on building the shelter are carried out for some time already.

Displaced owners, were “informed” by the municipality on commencement of the works by placing the notice on the municipal information board, KIM Radio reported.
