Kosovo President, Hashim Thaci, said today that August 30, the International Day on Missing Persons, is a reminder of the grave wound of Kosovo’s society and the responsibility of state institutions and political leaders on the matter. “Our whole society needs to engage in resolving this issue as soon as possible. I remain committed to resolve the issue of missing persons for every family and to close this wound. I support every initiative, in Kosovo and the world, aimed at strengthening human rights and freedoms and the fight against practices of abuse and human rights violations that resulted in missing persons. Everyone is entitled to justice and the right to know,” Thaci posted on Facebook.
