Rahim Pacolli, secretary of the New Kosovo Alliance, asked Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj to dismiss Agriculture Minister Nenad Rikalo, reports KIM radio.
Pacolli claims that Rikalo has committed war crimes in Kosovo, and that he should therefore be tried and punished.
“Although 20 years have passed, one who has committed war crimes should be tried and punished. I call on Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj to dismiss Rikalo and appoint a new minister,” Pacolli wrote on his Facebook profile and added that justice authorities should approach this case impartially and without political influence.
Minister of Agriculture Nenad Rikalo was unavailable for comment, reports KIM radio.
