Vetevendosje MP, Albulena Haxhiu, has reacted to the statement of the head of OSCE Jan Braathu that Kosovo Serbs can use documents issued by Serbian authorities to vote in today’s local elections. She said such a practice is ‘scandalous’ and ‘unacceptable’. “First, it is unacceptable the fact that the north is always seen as separate to the rest of the country and second, the statement that Serbian documents can be used to vote is in conflict to the constitutional and legal order [of Kosovo],” Haxhiu said.
