The Belgrade-Pristina dialogue continuation, scheduled for Tuesday, 16 January 2018 in Brussels, is expected, as without dialogue there is no future for the entire region, Serbia and Kosovo Albanians, Tanjug news agency reported on Sunday.

This is according to Tanjug’s interlocutors. Sociologist, Vladimir Vuletic thinks Pristina would need to showcase a political responsibility and openness for the continuation of the dialogue, while Chairperson of the Serbian Assembly Committee for Kosovo and Metohija, Milovan Drecun said continuation of a dialogue foremost must be related to the establishment of the Association of Serb Municipalities.

Both, Vuletic and Drecun see the continuation of a dialogue as a sign that significant pressure was exercised upon Pristina, foremost by the USA, to have them to the negotiation table.

That is why, Vuletic believes it would now be much easier to speak about the implementation of the agreement on establishing the Association of the Serb Municipalise, something that Pristina was prolonging, bringing the dialogue into a crisis.

Milovan Drecun, thinks that Serbia should use the current weakened position of Pristina and with diplomatic activities toward the EU and the US “make” Pristina to fulfil what has been agreed and it is the establishment of the Association of the Serb Municipalities.

Meanwhile, the Spokesperson of the Srpska Lista and MP, Igor Simic told RTS continuation of a dialogue is significant for calming down the tensions that arise when there is no dialogue.
