Serbian media in Kosovo reports that an explosive device was thrown in a yard of a house located in Bosniak Mahala in North Mitrovica.

Head of Kosovo Police Operations unit for the North Zeljko Bojic says that last night around 11.25 pm the Police station in Mitrovica received a report that an explosive device was thrown in Sumadijska Street in front of the house where a Kosovo Serb lives. He says that no one was injured on that occasion, and that a material damage was caused in the immediate vicinity of the house. The investigative teams came to the scene as well as the EOD team, and performed the investigation. After the investigation, it was determined that most likely this was caused by a handmade/improvised explosive device, Bojic says to the media.

Competent prosecutor qualified the case as a criminal offense of “causing general danger”.
