PM Haradinaj meets Prime Minister of Bulgaria (media)

The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj met today with the Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borissov. Haradinaj said that Bulgaria has a significant role in the region and that Kosovo is committed to close relations as well as economic and political cooperation with this European country.

“Bulgaria has an ally, Kosovo. We are honored with your presence in our country and no issue divides our two countries,” Haradinaj said at the opening of the meeting stressing further the importance of increase of economic cooperation and joint European orientation.

He also requested from PM Borissov Bulgaria’s support on Kosovo’s European journey as well as membership at international organisations and recognition process.

The Prime Minister of Bulgaria on the other hand expressed appreciation for the hospitality and stressed commitment of his country to strengthen bilateral relations and economic partnership on their joint European way.

“There are no open issues between our two countries. Our intentions for infrastructural and other investments have Kosovo in focus as well,” Borissov said.

Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Behgjet Pacolli, Deputy Prime Ministers Fatmir Limaj and Enver Hoxhaj as well as Kosovo’s Ambassador in Bulgaria, Shpend Kallaba, were also present at the meeting.
