Deputy Chair of Medvedja Municipal Assembly, Florim Sahiti told FoNet news agency that as it was the case last year, presidents of Albania and Kosovo, Ilir Meta and Hashim Thaci are invited to a cultural-sport event in the village of Tupale, near by Medvedja.
In addition to them, we have invited mayors of municipalities in Kosovo, e.g. Kamenica, Pristina and Kosovo Polje.
We have also invited Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic and Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, Sahiti added, refuting media reports that the invitation was sent to the Kosovo PM Ramush Haradinaj.
Sahiti said, Medvedja mayor, Nebojsa Arsic filed criminal charges against him and his assistant, Lema Gjemi over inviting the Kosovo President Thaci.
“We had also invited presidents of Kosovo and Albania last year, but Arsic did not file criminal charges then,” Sahiti said, Serbian media reported.
