The latest in a series of attacks against Serb properties in Novo Brdo obviously aims to intimidate the Serb population in this ethnically mixed area, Serbian Government Office for Kosovo and Metohija said, Tanjug news agency reported.
The Office statement came as a reaction on a recent theft of two cows owned by Markovic family, in the village of Zebince, Novo Brdo municipality.
“Serbs in Novo Brdo rely on agriculture as their main activity, while cattle theft is an attack on their mere existence. The Office for Kosovo and Metohija would buy cattle to the affected Markovic family very soon,” Serbian media reported.
