Pristina will be host of Manifesta in 2022, European art and culture biennial held in different host city every two years, it was announced today at a press conference hosted by the Municipality of Pristina.
Mayor of Pristina Shpend Ahmeti said that Pristina’s selection as a host by the Manifesta board sends a message that the Balkans is part of Europe. “In the three coming years we will work to bring over 200,000 visitors for this event and make it the best so far,” Ahmeti wrote on Facebook.
