Kosovo Assembly President, Kadri Veseli, visited today in Pristina a site where the Museum of Genocide, commemorating the crimes against Kosovo civilians, will be built. Veseli said the museum will have an educational role for future generations and said the construction will begin next year. “Serbia carried out genocide in Kosovo and it will answer for this,” Veseli was quoted as saying. “I want to thank every government organization that works on shedding light on the truth of crimes committed against Albanians. I also want to thank all political parties in the Kosovo Assembly. This is an initiative for the people of Kosovo and for justice and truth. There can be nor reconciliation without revealing the truth about Serbia’s crimes in Kosovo.”
