The President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci, said the current situation in northern Kosovo is Serbia’s failed improvisation and added that there is no humanitarian crisis in Kosovo.
“There is no humanitarian crisis in Kosovo, there is an improvisation and Serbia’s tendencies to be presented as a victim to the Serb citizens in northern Kosovo. Therefore, it is very important for the entire democratic world to know the reality and understand reality. And this is new failed pretension of Serbia,” Thaci said.
Thaci congratulated Albania for local elections held on Sunday, however he did not want to comment the results.
“It does not belong to me to comment the result, but I wish calmness and maturity for all citizens of Albania,” he said.
Asked about who is going to lead the discussions with Serbia after the decision of the Constitutional Court that the Law on Dialogue is anti-constitutional and that the negotiating team is not legitimate, Thaci only said Kosovo will be represented with responsibility of institutional leadership within constitutional competencies.”
