Vetevendosje leader Albin Kurti has called for the immediate release of the former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) fighter, Tomor Morina, detained by North Macedonian authorities on an international arrest warrant issued by Serbia.
Kurti said Kosovo institutions have always adopted ‘improvised reactions to Serbia’s systematic arrest warrants.” “A lot of noise is made for someone that is interviewed somewhere while for Tomor Morina there is no state reaction yet although he is in a pre-procedure for extradition,” Kurti wrote on Facebook.
“We call on our diplomatic and governmental institutions to urgently undertake all procedures to ensure Tomor’s release as soon as possible,” he concluded.
