Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) leader Isa Mustafa met today with Italian Ambassador to Kosovo, Piero Sardi, and briefed him on LDK’s preparations for the upcoming early general elections. The LDK issued a press release after the meeting citing Mustafa as saying, “the LDK prefers that all parties run alone in the elections. The LDK will follow the activities of other parties and make decisions in line with the political circumstances … Above all we are working on winning the elections so that parties that are now in the opposition can form a new government with a stable majority that can address the capital issues which the country is facing”.
