The U.S. Embassy in Kosovo issued a statement on social media following the Assembly’s vote to dissolve.
“The Assembly has taken an important step toward creating a new government. A campaign in which candidates offer fresh ideas on talks with Serbia, rule of law, and economic development would ensure Kosovo does not lose even more time in building a foundation for the future,” the statement reads.
