The news website reports that the dialogue for the normalisation of relations between Kosovo and Serbia is expected to resume after the formation of new EU institutions and the end of parliamentary elections in Kosovo. There were reports that the EU is expected to appoint a special envoy for the process of dialogue. Radio Free Europe reported today that if the new European Commission decides to have an envoy in the talks then a German diplomat would be appointed to the post. The German Government however told the news website today that EU High Representative Josep Borrell would decide on the matter. “This is a matter that the new EU Commission and the new EU High Representative, Josep Borrell, would have to decide,” the German government said in its reply.
