Vjosa Osmani, candidate for prime minister from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) said that the border changes idea will not be part of the dialogue with Serbia and that she even managed to convince deputy leader Lutfi Haziri against the idea.
“So far, I have managed to convince the campaign manager, Mr. Haziri, who now fully respects the unanimous decision of the LDK Council which drafted a platform for Kosovo-Serbia dialogue where top item is unchanging of the borders,” Osmani said.
She added however that Haziri’s view on border changes between Kosovo and Serbia was different to what the President of Kosovo Hashim Thaci had in mind.
Haziri meanwhile commented on Osmani’s statement on border changes. “We are a team that has agreed on a platform, programmes and everything she says is very true,” Haziri said.
