Citing unnamed sources, the news agency reports that Kosovo Serbs in the north, who work in state institutions, are ordered and even threatened to be fired by heads of these institutions, to vote for the first candidates of the Serbian List in the upcoming early parliamentary elections, while Serbs living in the south are ordered to five for the next five candidates on the same list. A Kosovo Serb that works at one of the schools in Mitrovica North, on condition of anonymity, told Kosovapress that her principal ordered her to vote for the Serbian List and its first five candidates on October 6. “Today one of my colleagues told me to go and see the principal as he had something important to tell me. After I went to his office, and it was just of the two of us there, he ordered me to vote together with my family members for the Serbian List and its first five candidates for MPs in the Sunday election. Otherwise, I risk losing my job,” she said. She added that she later found out that the principal had told the same thing to all her colleagues, in individual meetings. She also said that Serbs living in the southern part of Kosovo were also being told to vote for the Serbian List and for the candidates from numbers 6 to 10 on the ticket list. She said a colleague in Gracanica told her this and that this decision was made after recent consultations that Serbian List representatives had with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic. The news agency claims to possess a letter that is being distributed to Serbs in the four northern municipalities instructing them who to vote for.
