The news website reports that the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) filed a complaint on Monday afternoon with the Elections Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP) citing alleged irregularities in the vote count. ECAP chair Mul Desku confirmed they received the complaint. “We are aware that we received a complaint from this political party yesterday. This is all I can say for now; we have no further information about the claims made in the complaint,” he said. Meanwhile, PDK representative at the Central Election Commission, Betim Gjoshi, confirmed to the news website that they have asked for a vote recount, claiming that 1,000 of votes initially cast for the PDK went to other parties as a result of an error on the CEC ballot.
