German MP from the Social-Democratic Party Josip Juratovic called the result of Kosovo elections a victory for democracy. He told Deutsche Welle on the eve of his visit to Serbia and Kosovo that “eventual change of the government should be considered as a new dynamic in the democratic development of Kosovo. However, the result, especially for Vetevendosje Movement and Albin Kurti is a duty and responsibility to actively implement democratic values of the party and the country. He should reach out to Serb community of the country in order to calm the tensions down. Here, the new government should return to the dialogue, in order to establish stability and above all, normality for Kosovo population. This dialogue should open way to both parties to a peaceful future with mutual respect and recognition,” he said.

Juratovic, together with parliamentary commission for foreign policy, are currently in a four-day visit to Belgrade. The group is led by MP from the Green Party Ottmar von Holtz. Parliamentarians from all political parties are part of this delegation.
