Assembly starts discussion about University of Pristina (Radio Kosova)

Assembly speaker Jakup Krasniqi in today’s Assembly session said that public should know who are those individuals who are further spying Kosovo and its citizens, Krasniqi made these statements in the part for free statements referring to the public statements of three former Yugoslav security agents, who stated that also at this day in Assembly, Government and other institutions there are individuals who cooperate with state security of Serbia.

Krasniqi said that statements of former Yugoslav security agents that in Kosovo institutions are individuals who are cooperating with state security of Serbia are concerning for Kosovo. He said that parliamentary commissions, National Security Council and Prosecution should question them to find out who these individuals are that even today after 15 years are working for a foreign service. “I think that this issue should be considered. These people should give the names and afterwards also parliament and public in Kosovo should know who really continues to spy on Kosovo and its citizens,” said Krasniqi.

Also the last action of EULEX, where it has been arrested Uke Rugova as suspected in the implications for selling of Italian visas has been raised as an issue in this session. Minister if European Integrations, Vlora Citaku said that this influences negatively in visa liberalization process.

Meantime, Assembly started the discussion about the situation in Pristina University, this was initiated from LDK. LDK deputy, Lirie Kajtazi presented the request for discussion, while among others she requested resignation of rector of Pristina University and requested from the Government to give up from the influence in Pristina University.
