Haradinaj met Secretary Kerry and General Clark (Koha)

Leader of Alliance for Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, accompanied by deputy leader and MP, Ardian Gjini, took part at the ceremony of the Morning Prayers where the main speaker was the US President, Barack Obama.

During the ceremony, Haradinaj met US Secretary of State, John Kerry, whom he thanked for the immensely important role for Kosovo over the years and exchanged opinions for the future of Kosovo.

Haradinaj, met during the day, in separate meetings, also the US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, Hoyt Yee, and the Direction for Central and South Europe Affairs, Jonathan Moore.

These meetings focused on developments in Kosovo and its perspective following elections set to take place this year.

AAK leader also had a meeting with US Congressman, Eliot Engel, where situation in Kosovo was the main topic.

In addition, Haradinaj met US General, Wesley Clark, and exchanged experiences from the wartime period and spoke of political and economic future of Kosovo.

today, Haradinaj received a letter from US Senator, Bob Dole, thanking Haradinaj for extraordinary, world-scale leadership and achievement of tangible results in Kosovo’s democratic development, a press release issued by AAK reads.
