Leader of the Civil Initiative ‘Srpska’ Vladeta Kostić assessed hat community of Serbian municipalities (CSM) can’t be formed until parliamentary elections in Serbia and in Kosovo are over.

“That would be the best way in my opinion, since we’ll have governments in Pristina and Belgrade, along with parliaments with full capacities and mandates,” said Kostić and stressed that Kosovo government doesn’t have majority in the parliament, thus it doesn’t have the political strength to implement Brussels agreement, carried Free Europe.

Kostić said that CI ‘Srspka’ dealt with local issues and problems of common citizens at the local elections, instead of high politics. “By doing so we won nine municipalities,” said Kostić and added that ‘Srpska’ proved that there is a possibility for reaching full consensus amongst Serbs within Serbian community in Kosovo.

Kostić said that CI ‘Srpska’ is well prepared for Kosovo parliamentary elections.

“Whether we’ll participate in the form of civil initiative or we’ll register the party remains to be decided in period to come,” said Kostić. He stressed that extreme elements amongst Serbs and Albanians are the problem.
“Civil Initiative ‘Srpska’ was opposed by those very ultra-rightist political parties who are gathering Serbs. Although I would like to remind that ultra-rightist forces in Kosovo were also against ‘Srpska’, particularly parties who are gathering Albanians in Kosovo,” concluded Kostić.
