After the leader of Progressives, Aleksandar Vucic, deputy president of Radicals (SRS) Nemanja Šarović, and senior representative of Dveri, Bosko Obradovic, President of Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) Vojislav Kostunica should go to Kosovo, on Wednesday 5 March. He will speak at a rally in Kosovska Mitrovica , while someone from the top of the DSS will visit the Serbs south of the Ibar River.

Democratic Party (DS), New Democratic Party (NDS) and Socialists (SPS) handed over election campaign to the local candidates for deputies. “NDS campaign is led by the candidates for deputies from K&M. We are organizing rallies, and we have already passed the whole of Kosovo. Of course, all officials from the Party HQ are welcome,” said the candidate for deputy and the former Minister for Kosovo and Metohija, Goran Bogdanovic.

DS has the same methodology. DS official Borislav Stefanovic explained that “activist of that party are largely working in the field.” According to him, “it is not known whether there will be rallies and whether Dragan Djilas will address population. As he said, for now, election campaign mainly considers smaller events, which should reach as many people as possible.”

SPS announced that their candidates for deputies will hold more meetings in the province, though they expect the guests from the Belgrade headquarter.

Zvonimir Stevic, chairman of the SPS Provincial Committee, said that for the past week more than 300 young people participated in the gathering of Socialists, in Šilovo. On the occasion of 8 March will be held a gathering of K&M Women’s Forum in Gracanica, as well as gatherings in Strpce/Shterpce, northern Kosovo and in Metohija. “I hope Ivica Dacic will come, although he was in Kosovo three times in the last three months,” said Stevic.
