Dialogue depends on implementation of agreement (Koha Ditore)

The future of the dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade as well as that of the agreement of 19 April will depend on the implementation dynamics of points that have to do with the entire dismissal of illegal structures of Serbia, functioning of the Association of Serb Municipalities according to Kosovo laws, agreement for courts in the north, and the implementation of achieved agreement in the technical dialogue. Despite delays in the implementation of agreements, Kosovo Government expects that the form of meetings at the political level between Kosovo and Serbia will remain the same, even after elections in Serbia.

CEC doesn’t deal with Serbia’s elections (Zeri)

Officials from the Kosovo Central Election Commission (CEC) said they will not get involved in organising Serbia’s parliamentary elections in the territory of Kosovo. “Only the OSCE is involved in these elections. The CEC was and will never get involved in them,” said head of CEC Valdete Daka. She also said that it is up to the Government of Kosovo to decide whether it will allow them taking place in Kosovo or not.

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister is most recently quoted as saying that general elections scheduled for 16 March will also be organised in the territory of Kosovo and that there is agreement with the Kosovo side on this. “We have agreed to something in Brussels and we want to put this to action,” Vucic said.

Vulin: Serbian elections in Kosovo like in 2012 (Zeri)

Serbian minister without portfolio in charge of Kosovo, Aleksandar Vulin, said on Sunday in Mitrovica that Serbian general elections in Kosovo will be organised in the same way with those in 2012. “There will be the same number of polling centres. Elections will take place in the same places and locations, with the assistance of the same organisation. Votes will also be counted at the same place,” Vulin said.

Kosovo establishes diplomatic relations with Gabon (dailies)

Ambassador of Kosovo in France, Muhamedin Kullashi, and ambassador of Republic of Gabon in France, Germain Ngoyo Moussavou, signed at the in Kosovo embassy in Paris a protocol for establishing bilateral diplomatic relations. Ambassador Kullashi and Ngoyo Moussavou reconfirmed the commitment of Kosovo and Gabon for promotion and support of universal principles and of international cooperation and world peace.

Thaci requests water issue not be mixed with politics (Koha Ditore)

Kosovo Prime Minister, Hashim Thaci, has pledged support of his Government to in overcoming the water supply crisis in Pristina and the surrounding areas. He requested that the water issue should not be mixed with politics. Thaci made the comments during a visit of the works in the water supply system of Badovc Lake with water from the Ujmani Lake. “We are here to give full support for Badovc Lake to be supplied with water. Water supply cannot be interfered with political issues as it is in the interest of all citizens, and therefore we don’t want to make political connotations,” said Thaçi.
