Albanians usurped monastery property (RTK2)

Albanian family has usurped monastery land, reported Monastery St. Vrača in Zočište/Zoçishtë and stressed that verbal provocations against monks has continued as well.

Monastery St. Vrača in Zočište/Zoçishtë near Orahovac/Rrahovec yesterday reported that an Albanian family has usurped the Monastery parcels and that verbal provocations against monks has continued.

In the handout forwarded to Tanjug agency monks from the Monastery St. Vrača say that a member from family Shala from village Zočište/Zoçishtë has illegally cultivated and sowed the Monastery parcels which are located in its vicinity  at location Bucina.

Parcels have surface of 19,8 and 12,3 ar for which the Monastery has a valid documentation. Besides that, along with the start construction season and continuation of works on renovation of the Monastery complex, provocation against the Monastery brotherhood and workers have continued, reads the statement.

An example was quoted when a group of Albanian children was passing near the Monastery and chanted to monks and workers ‘KLA, KLA’.
