Despite the fact that Kosovo is not a member of the Council of Europe, the delegation of the Assembly of Kosovo will participate in future Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) activity, with the right to speak but not to vote.

The draft resolution, based on the report of the Spanish deputy, Augustine Conde, proposes to “call the Assembly of Kosovo to nominate its delegation which except for the governing majority, would include representatives of the opposition parties and those of the minorities,” informed vijestionline.

It was announced that Kosovo will apply for membership at the Council of Europe this year. Kosovo is recognized by 34 from 47 states of the Council of Europe, which means that it already has the required majority for membership.
