The news site reports that the government does not intend to give up on the issue of border demarcation with Montenegro. Kosovo government officials said if the recent proposal for measurement of the territory is not realized, there will be new initiatives to put an conclusion to this agreement. Kosovo’s Deputy Minister of Local Government Administration, Bajram Gecaj, told the news site the government will undertake new initiatives as it is vital for the citizens to resolve this issue. “We have taken this initiative, but we will see other options. We do not stop with this issue. If this does not work, then of course the Prime Minister will think of something else. We must show the citizens that we are interested to solve this issue at any cost. If the opposition does not want to solve it, then people will see who is to blame and who does not want to cooperate on this issue,” Gecaj said.
