Christian Danielsson, the European Commission Director General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations, said during his visit to Pristina today in order to get visa liberalization Kosovo must meet the two remaining criteria: the fight against organized crime and corruption and ratifying the border demarcation deal with Montenegro. “These criteria are known and we advise you to look into ways of addressing them. This is in the hands of the Kosovo Government. From our side, the pledge is clear. One step has been made. The [European] Commission is willing to recommend visa liberalization for Kosovo once these criteria are met,” Danielsson said after meeting Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj.
