Kosovo’s Deputy Prime Minister, Enver Hoxhaj, met today with members of Kosovo Assembly’s Foreign Affairs Committee to discuss regional cooperation, meetings with the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, cooperation with Albania, and relations with Serbia. Hoxhaj said that the Association/Community of Serb-majority municipalities should be formed at the same time as Kosovo’s membership of the United Nations. “As far as the UN and the Association are concerned, my position not only now but even in 2015 was that we need to include a model agreement for the association into a greater agreement for normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia. The pace of forming the Association should happen simultaneously with a UN seat for Kosovo,” Hoxhaj said.
