Kosovo Assembly MP from the Democratic League of Kosovo (PDK), Zenun Pajaziti, said the idea for unification of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedje with Kosovo is not an idea of a political party or leader in Kosovo.
He told the paper that the request of the Presevo Valley for unification with Kosovo was the idea of the Albanians who live there, furthermore, according to him, they have endorsed this idea with a referendum earlier.
“So, it derives from the legitimate right of the Albanians there, and as such, it should be taken very seriously,” Pajaziti said.
He assured Kosovo citizens that PDK will be vigilant at each process to keep integrity of the country and the rights of Albanians.
Pajaziti said Albanians in Presevo Valley are deprived from many basic rights and freedoms.
