„The warmongering rhetoric of certain media since the beginning of June, but also the concrete intentions to ‘spontaneously’ provoke the territorial partition, have rightfully deeply concerned our Bishop and forced him to react,” Abbot of Visoki Decani Sava Janjic said, KoSSev portal reported.
“We are glad that, by actualizing this topic, at least some of us have contributed to the fact that this scenario did not occur or that it has been delayed, at least, because no territorial partition, which is spoken about more and more openly, as we know it, never takes place in a peace environment and inevitably leads to the suffering of the innocent,” the Abbot Janjic added, responding to messages against church representatives conveyed by the highest Serbian officials.
He also announced that he would personally apologize if Serbian political representatives publicly reject any possible scenario of partition and if they confirm that they respect the Serbian Constitution.
