German Chancellor Angela Merkel said today that there are certain tendencies in the Western Balkans and that there is talk about border adjustments but that “this cannot happen”, the news website reports. “There is a European perspective for all countries of the Western Balkans. Bosnia and Herzegovina is trying to join the European Union. It had to reply to hundreds of questions and we have encouraged the government to reply to these additional questions,” Merkel said after meeting Denis Zvizdic, Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
