Goran Rakic, President of Serbian List issued a statement, as a reaction to the announcements related to Kadri Veseli’s construction plans for “new Mitrovica”, Serbian media reports.
“Kadri Veseli can build towers and towns in the Serbian land only over our dead bodies and I warn him not to try something like that. We did not allow the tanks across the Ibar, on which Veseli’s comrades drove, and thus we will not allow his excavators.”
Rakic says that no one should dare to touch onto the jurisdiction of the Serbian municipalities because the response will be fierce and decisive, media reports.
Rakic adds in his statement to the media that instead of trying to scare Serbs once again and to ignore their existence and inalienable rights, Veseli could dedicate himself to implementing the Agreement on the ZSO, which, he reminds Veseli, gives full control over spatial planning of the area.
