At the moment, it is impossible to predict content and date of reaching possible agreement between Belgrade and Pristina, Chairperson of the European Parliament Committee for Foreign Affairs and Rapporteur for Serbia, David McAllister said, adding that Vucic and Thaci are committed to take the normalization of relations “to the next level”.
He also underlined there are challenges along the way, however, there are positive signs to build mutual trust, and it would be good if the dialogue continues with the next round in Brussels, before the end of the month.
Commenting on the differences in stances of the parties in dialogue and international community regarding the content of possible final solution to the Kosovo issue, and the date of it, McAllister noted it is Belgrade and Pristina that decide “on the topics and the timeframe,” while the EU has a role of intermediary in the dialogue.
