Kosovo President, Hashim Thaci, said in an interview to Croatian RTL, that it will be difficult to reach peace with Serbia, but that dialogue is the only way toward a solution. Commenting on Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic’s remarks about Slobodan Milosevic during his recent visit to Kosovo, Thaci said that the whole world knows that Milosevic was the Butcher of the Balkans and that he was directly responsible for the genocide in Kosovo. “Glorifying him at a time of increased efforts to achieve peace, is a very big mistake,” Thaci said. Asked if he was surprised by the relatively low turnout of Kosovo Serbs in Vucic’s rally, Thaci said most important for him was the fact that there were no incidents during Vucic’s visit.
