Memli Krasniqi, caucus of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), invited representatives of parliamentary groups to harmonize content of the resolution on the dialogue with Serbia.  “Unfortunately, we are in a situation where the boycott initiated by the opposition MPs has created a momentum in which we are not being able to discuss the important issue of Kosovo-Serbia dialogue,” Krasnqi said.

“We have proposed to the opposition to unite in one of the sessions and draft a joint resolution. We are aware that Kosovo’s territorial integrity and statehood are inviolable and out of discussion. The resolution should be more comprehensive, it should have more points, not only one.

“We have also proposed that if the opposition does not want to hold a joint session, but to participate at the session called by the Prime Minister and to vote also against the negotiating team, we will participate in their session,” Krasniqi added.

He said political grudges should be avoided and “let us see into interests of the citizens. If this is going to be the course in the future “we will be weaker in our representation in the dialogue with Serbia.”
