Serbian Foreign Affairs Minister Ivica Dacic said a solution for Kosovo and Metohija is not on the table and it should be patiently looked for, FoNet news agency reported,

Dacic made these remarks in a conference “Western Balkan Security Challanges and Serbia” organized by the Centre for Foreign Policy in Belgrade.

“An idea on delineation that was presented is an option Aleksandar Vucic publicly mentioned and it should yet be a topic of discussion, since the talks did not move ahead in the sense of something concrete, but ideas and options were presented,” Dacic noted.

He added one should not mention Pandora’s box, that was opened with recognition of Kosovo, and does not stand in this case.

Eventual agreement would not open Pandora’s box, he added, since such proposal would be supported by Serbs, Albanians and the international community.

“We want to turn to positive agenda, and remove security issues in the region, to stop conflicts and open a new page in our relations,” Dacic underlined.

Meanwhile, US Ambassador to Serbia, Kyle Scott, who also attended the conference said he is pleased with “new vibrations” he sees in Belgrade regarding reaching agreement with Pristina, adding USA want finding a flexible and lasting solution to this matter.

He expressed belief, Belgrade and Pristina would reach comprehensive agreement that would bring satisfaction to the both sides and added that President Vucic and President Thaci have full support from the USA to find a solution.

Ambassador Scott, noted he sees three critical issues for the stability of the Western Balkans, dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, name of Macedonia and third one relates to the survival of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbian media reported.
