Kosovo’s Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli who is in New York for the annual UN General Assembly session met the Secretary-General of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Yusuf Al Othaimeen. Pacolli said after the meeting that OIC’s support is extremely important for Kosovo’s Interpol membership bid. Pacolli said the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation has continuously supported Kosovo in its consolidation and integration stages. “Resolutions adopted by the Organisation’s council of foreign ministers calling for recognition of the state of Kosovo are the best indicator of this support,” Pacolli said.
