Croatia, Slovenia and Montenegro abolished the crime of consensual homosexual relations between adults in 1977. The other ex-Yugoslav countries and Albania have done so in the 90’s. However, nowdays LGBTQI+ (which stands for lesbians, gays, bisexual, trans, questioning, intersex and more), are still far from enjoying the same rights as the rest of the population.
