Head of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) parliamentary group Avdullah Hoti said attempts are being made to sidestep democratic institutions in Kosovo in an effort to carry out what he said were dangerous projects against the state of Kosovo. This, Hoti said, is in violation to the will of the majority of Kosovo people expressed in the 1991 referendum. “Unconstitutional actions of institutional leaders have wavered our relations with friendly countries that are rightfully opposing these types of adventures,” Hoti wrote in a Facebook post. He said LDK will defend the will of the citizens of Kosovo “as never before.”
