Telegrafi quotes reports from RTV Dukagjini saying that Justice Minister Abelard Tahiri is expected to officially resign his post today and that he has already presented his resignation to Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj. Sources said the reasons behind Tahiri’s resignation is his discontent with the functioning of the justice system, in particular the political interference in the last two months. Klan Kosova also confirms Tahiri’s resignation but notes that it is not known what reasons prompted him to take such a step. It does however recall that few days ago Tahiri called on politicians not to put pressure on justice institutions.
