The European Union Office in Kosovo in cooperation with Kosovo Women Network (KWN) presented Kosovo Gender Analysis focusing on representation of women in different sectors including government, rule of law, education, agriculture, employment, healthcare. The report found that women in Kosovo, including ethnic minority women, remain underrepresented in most of the fields. Co-author of the report, Nicole Farnworth, said women are not adequately represented in the Assembly and decision-making positions. With regards to employment, only 13% of all women are employed compared to 47% of men while on the rule of law aspect, women own only 17% of properties. The report also found that gender-based violence remains widespread and that institutional response remains weak.
