United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the German Embassy in Pristina signed an agreement to support Kosovo security sector by combating illicit use of weapons. UN Development Coordinator Ulrike Richardson said fight against illicit use of weapons is the main element to securing peace while the German Ambassador Christian Heldt said illicit fire arms pose a threat for societies not only in Kosovo but the entire continent of Europe. He said the German Embassy was proud to continue cooperation with UNDP in support of increasing security for Kosovo citizens.
