“I am sorry that Ambassador Scott has not tried to show his arrogance at some event with President Vucic, because he would be thrown out on his ear from the Government (building),“ the Serbian Minister of Defence, Aleksandar Vulin said, reacting to the statement of the US Ambassador to Serbia Kyle Scott, who said in the Serbian government building, as Tanjug news agency reported, that Kosovo is an „independent state“.
When asked by journalists how much hope is there for peace when there is constant pressure on Serbia to talk with the so-called Kosovo government while half of the people who sit there have criminal records or are about to face prosecution, Scott replied:
“The Kosovo government is not so-called – it is the Government of Kosovo, an independent and sovereign country, with its elected representatives.“
The Minister of Defence, Aleksandar Vulin reacted to this statement several hours later, Tanjug also reported.
