In a meeting with the US State Department Coordinator for Counterterrorism Nathan Sales, Prime Minister of Kosovo Ramush Haradinaj expressed the commitment of the government to strengthen the rule of law and consolidate security institutions underlining that Kosovo is part of the US-led global coalition for fight against terrorism, violent extremism and radicalization. “We are grateful for the continuous support you have given in hard times as well as now in building a democratic state,” Haradinaj is quoted in a press release issued by the government of Kosovo after the meeting. Kosovo prime minister also urged the US to support Kosovo in joining Interpol and other international organisations.
