SRSG Tanin Condemns Attack on Serb Pilgrims and Urges Respect for Freedom of Movement and Freedom of Religion
22 October 2018 – The Special Representative of the Secretary-General and Head of UNMIK, Mr. Zahir Tanin, condemns the incident in Istog/Istok municipality which took place yesterday when two buses transporting Serb pilgrims were stoned.
“Such acts are unacceptable and competent authorities should investigate the case and bring perpetrators to justice,” SRSG Tanin stresses.
He reminds all of the fundamental rights to freedom of movement and freedom of religion.

22 tetor 2018 – Përfaqësuesi Special i Sekretarit të Përgjithshëm dhe shef i UNMIK-ut, z. Zahir Tanin, dënon incidentin në komunën e Istogut i cili ndodhi dje kur dy autobusë që po transportonin pilgrimët Serbë u gjuajtën me gurë.
“Akte të tilla janë të papranueshme dhe autoritietet kompetente duhet të hetojnë rastin dhe t’i sjellin autorët para drejtësisë,” theksoi PSSP Tanin.
Ai u kujton të gjithëve të drejtat themelore për lirinë e lëvizjes dhe lirinë e fesë.

22. oktobar 2018 – Specijalni predstavnik Generalnog sekretara i šef UNMIK-a, g. Zahir Tanin, osuđuje incident u opštini Istok, koji se dogodio juče kada su kamenovana dva autobusa sa srpskim vernicima.
“Takva dela su neprihvatljiva i nadležni organi treba da istraže slučaj i dovedu počinioce pred lice pravde”, ističe SPSG Tanin.
On podseća sve na osnovna prava slobode kretanja i slobode veroispovesti.
