Mitrovica South Mayor, Agim Bahtiri, told Kosovapress today that he received a death threat through an email today. He did not reveal the content of the email but said it is related to his insistence to open the Ibar River Bridge. “There is no one in the world that can frighten me. I have reported the case to the police. Investigators are working on it. Even the message [email] says that this is related to the bridge. I will push processes forward and there is no one that can stop the opening of the bridge. The bridge will be opened soon. My message to the citizens is to stay calm and not be concerned,” Bahtiri said.
